TPC Valencia is The Spot for Thaesha & Sam’s Romantic Wedding

Thaesha’s tattoo says “The Beauty in Everything”, and this saying truly encapsulated Thaesha and Sam’s entire wedding day. From Thaesha’s beautiful smile and priceless expressions, to the fabulous setting and stunning flowers from Charmaine, to the way Sam’s face lit up when his bride was in view, romance and beauty were the words of the day.

The romance and love shared by this sweet couple are evident in every photograph. Their wedding was the ultimate expression of beauty and love.

It was our pleasure to have worked with them and helped refer so many of the Santa Clarita Valley’s premier vendors to help make their day so special.

We know these two and their families will share a beautiful future.

Rave Review: Casey & Mauricio

Another rave review for R & R, this one from Casey:

We had Dave & Jody do our wedding photos and engagement photos. WOW!!!!

Our pictures have come out so amazing. We have so many people that have commented on how beautiful the pictures have come out for both the engagement photos and for the wedding photos.

Dave and Jody have been doing photography for years and the quality definitely shows. I know Photoshop can do a lot to make a photo look good, but their skill with their tools cannot be manipulated with a computer application. Also, when it comes time for the composition of the photo book, Jody is a master. She will run it down as to how she does what she does, if you want her to, or you just let her do it. Either way, you will see the phenomenal results that come about from what they do.

They care, not just about how the pictures will come out, but also about your satisfaction as a customer. A quality that didn’t seem to matter to some of the vendors I met with. One in particular made me feel like he was too good to do my wedding. You won’t get that with Dave and Jody.

We had a great time with them also. They are such a cute couple.

Like I said about the other Vendors we had, they care about you and your happiness, not just about getting paid. It comes through in the quality of the photos and the genuine smiles they will get from your family.

Jennifer & Al’s Story: Romance at Spanish Hills Country Club Wedding

When Al and his fiancé, Jennifer, came in to meet with us, we knew we would have fun with this couple.  We have known Al since he was in elementary school with our son.  Al and Jennifer too, go far back… They started as neighbors, then friends, and eventually that turned into a romance.  Their love story started right here, in Newhall. Nine and a half years of dating, and Al finally popped the question in Big Bear while snowboarding.

When it came time to do their engagement photos, they had tons of ideas.  The first part of their session was at their condo with their cute little Yorkie, Ace. Jen is quite the baker so they wanted to incorporate her love for baking and Al’s enthusiasm for her sweets into their pictures. I don’t think Al minded eating the cupcakes for multiple shots! The next stop was at TPC to take some photos near the lake and catch their love for country by rocking some cowboy boots and hats. We then moved onto their old stomping grounds: Hart High School. Here we caught them kissing in the bleachers, tossing a softball on the field, and throwing around a football. We were able to get to know them even better and capture a lot of their personalities in these photos!  We couldn’t wait to hang out with them again at their wedding.

When their wedding day arrived, we knew exactly how to get these two smiling for the camera.  The bride and groom got ready at Hyatt Westlake where we captured some great getting ready shots and special moments, especially the first look with Jen and her dad. It was a priceless moment. Thanks to the Friday night traffic on the 101, we risked losing precious shooting time, so I took the bride, her matron of honor and maid of honor in my car so we can get all the pictures we would need, and not have to wait for the limo to make the round trip back after dropping off the guys.  Luckily my cooler was loaded with cold water and snacks for everyone.  Once we arrived at Spanish Hills Country Club, we went right into their moment to remember. It was such a touching exchange for these two. These intimate moments for a couple are a memory to be cherished forever, and we take that very seriously. As we shot the ceremony and moved into the reception, there wasn’t a detail left undone. There were personal touches everywhere. With the intimate group they had, you could see all the love for one another throughout the room. Everyone knew each other and had a great time. This was one group that sure knew how to party! We were so happy to be a part of this beautiful day and go home with a yummy cookie for the drive home.

Thank you so much Jen & Al for sharing your day with us, and for all the nice posts on Facebook.  We love your album too…that’s why it became a sample book at the studio.

Missy & Greg’s Wedding at Valencia Country Club: Vintage Shabby Chic Lights up the Night

You would think that if you went to kiss a girl at the end of a first date, and completely missed her mouth and had your tongue land on her nose, you might give up and never see her again. Luckily, Greg was not ever giving up on Missy. Persistence and love paid off—the relationship blossomed, and their June wedding was the culmination of many years of perfect kisses, planning, and romance.

Hours and hours of meticulous care were taken to transform Valencia Country Club into a pink & white, vintage, shabby chic wonderland. Charmaine filled Missy’s vision with fabulous flowers, Rusty and A V Party Rentals provided all the rental items, Sharon Stanman of Painted Joy contributed hand-lettered signs, Missy’s own father actually created and manufactured the doors they entered through, and J & M Entertainment‘s Jorge Lopez was the MC to the partying and fun, which was nonstop and even included one of the Backstreet Boys (!) dancing with his new wife out on the dance floor. We felt fortunate to be there to capture it all—check out our smiling faces at the end!

Bellisima Bride Bridal Show Marketing Photo Shoot at Tournament Player’s Club in Valencia

It truly takes a village… Sandra Lopez of J & M Entertainment and The Bellisama Bride Bridal Show called us to do some photos for the new marketing campaign for the August 7, 2011 upcoming bridal show at the Valencia Hyatt.  Adriana Cruz Farrell was on board to model a new dress from the Maggie Soltera collection and Sandra & Adriana Farrell came along to TPC- Tournaments Player’s Club- Valencia with us to help.  (Check out Dave & Sandra helping Adriana onto the fence) We wanted to catch the beautiful end of the day light so we started at 6pm and needed to be done by 7pm to accommodate everyone’s schedules.

Sandra & Adriana were amazing assistants and we never could have done it without their help.  We couldn’t leave without checking out the bridge that we had noticed on our way out to the site.  Sandra was on hand to bring the bouquet into the scene (Check out our model in waiting) Adriana’s professionalism and elegance made it easy for us to capture these images.  We still think they could increase golf cart sales with the pose of Adriana on the back of the cart!  Thank you to everyone  for making this a memorable evening for us.
